Details | Bridge over the polluted Yarkon River in Tel Aviv collapsed, at the opening ceremony of the Maccabiah Games. About 100 of the Australian delegation's 380 members were on the bridge as it collapsed. Bridge was built haphazardly, with no proper plan, foundation and supervision. |
