Series: A TRL Scotland Seminar held at The Scottish Office,
Edinburgh 25 April 1995
Notes - general: Abstract: The choice of surface treatments available
to maintain highways has increased. Instead of being
restricted to a single surface dressing or to the
replacement of the surfacing, the maintenance engineer
is now being offered a range of alternative materials.
The criteria to judge whether a road needs maintenance
have also been extended by the introduction of the
National Standard for skidding resistence for
in-service roads. It is this that this seminar
studies.
