                        the fatigue behaviour of welded details in the steel
                        orthotropic decks of the Severn and Wye Bridges a
                        computer program was written for calculation of
                        fatigue life.  In this paper the input data required
                        for such claculations id described; the method of
                        claculation is indicated; and a description of some
                        investigations carried out by use of the computer
                        program given.
