| Notes | It has been observed that an experimental length of continuously reinforced concrete pavement on M180 (Sandtoft to Trent section) began to show signs of reinforcement corrosion within 6 years of construction. Core samples taken from the road have been used to investigate the chloride concentration in the concrete and the degree of corrosion of the steel. |
