Highways Agency Reports

This report covers the development and proposed implementatin of simplified repeated load triaxial tests for aggregates, which are to be used in sub-base and capping layers of pavements, and for subgrade soils. It forms part of the reporting on a project entitled "Research to Improve road Foundation Design". That project also has an improtant design and vaidation element which is covered in a second report (Dawson, Thom and Brown, 1993). Much of the detail on which this report drwas is to be found in Cheung (1993).
