This report presents the results of tensile tests undertaken on specimens of Paraweb recovered after 6, 12, and 15.5 years burial in a silty clay backfill from an experiemnetal reinforced soil structure built at TRL. The findings are discussed in relation to the long-term integrity of structures containing such reinforcements. The data from the programme of tests add confidence to the ability of Parweb reinforcements to provide satisfactory long-term service.
