Description
The aim of SMArT is to establish and manage a network to promote, disseminate and apply research into the establishment, maintenance and construction of arch structures.
Objectives:
- To identify the research requirement
- To produce "best practice" guidelines
- To document case studies (current and past)
- To ensure that research results are disseminated to industry through centralised database
- To promote a better understanding of industrial needs
- To encourage collaboration between industry and research institutes.
